I have discovered something when it comes to feeling good, it takes practice!
I'll try to explain what I mean……
If I'm feeling upset in any way my go to feel good habit is shopping. I buy new things to make myself happy. Does this work? Momentarily yes.
I feel good that I have what I believe I needed and enjoy looking at the new item, wearing it
or using it but that's as far as it goes.
Basically, I am still looking externally for things to make me feel good internally.
Other people, things, jobs can make you feel better but ultimately feeling good is something you have to practice. By looking at what is already in your life and learning to feel good

Let me introduce you to my new BFF- the 'Warm Fuzzy Feeling aka WFF.'
The WFF is a tremendous tool when it comes to changing your life.
Here's an example : many people try using things like positive affirmations and then get downhearted when they don't seem to work. They sit there day after day looking miserable as sin spouting things like 'I am happy, I am healthy, I live an abundant life, I am blessed,' and nothing changes.
For me this is like trying to start a car with no battery in it. For the car to start and get moving it needs some source of power or energy and it is the same for affirmations and creating change in your life. You need the power/energy hence WFFs.
WFFs bring the energy needed to bring about change. They create change. They change your perspective, the way you feel, your way of being and so much more.
So now we know what they can do let me describe them to you:
WFFs can be a genuine belly laugh, the best hug you have ever had or getting into your pjs at the end of a busy day. It's DIY SOS or the news story of people giving freely to help others. It's that moment when you realise just how much someone appreciates you and what you do. It can be that moment when you recognise just how much love you have in your life or how blessed you are to have a job you love, children, pet or are able to buy your first car.
It's that all consuming feeling of safety. That moment when you look in the mirror and decide to love yourself whatever you look like because life is just too damn short.
Whatever a WFF may look like to you, you know how it feels. You may have forgotten how it feels but there will be a memory of one somewhere for you. The name describes exactly how they feel, warming, fuzzy kinda happy and all consuming. This feeling is powerful. This feeling can heal and this feeling is within you.
The world we live in doesn't encourage us to cultivate feeling good, in fact it does the opposite driving us to change how we look to be accepted or to work harder to earn more and to gain status.
Are these things driving your life? Are you constantly fighting those feelings of inadequacy? Is your life being lived to suit others? Are you going to settle for unhappiness to be accepted?
If you answer yes to any of these questions then I suggest you start making one small change today.
Start to look for a wff .
You may have filed it away as unimportant or a waste of time because 'life is hard'.....but go look . Go find that memory or thought that makes you feel good or even better, start creating and recognising new ones. Look for them, they will be there somewhere.
Then make it a daily practice to feel them. Let the memory fill you up from your toes to the top of your head. Bask in the warmth and joy . Smile at the happiness that stirs within. This is where life is meant to be lived. This is where you are accepted and safe.
